Halloween Event

Latency Issues

We're sorry for the inconvenience everyone and thank you for your patience as our team continues to work with this provider to resolve the issue.

FoF: OSI and Holiday Gifts

We've got questions concerning OSI houses and holiday gifts coming your way! "When I try to equip my Crystalline Ring it tells me that I am not the correct rank and it attempts to let me equip it anyways. Then it goes back into my pack and deducts 20 modified skill. What can I do to correct the issue with modified skills?" It is not necessary to call a GM for this. All you have to do is log out twice. This will clear up the issue. -- "Will the game mechanics prior to the release of SA allow us to remove the properties enhanced or crafted out of a special material? So we can sacrifice them to the soul forge god?" The answer is no. There are no current plans to allow removing special material from an item. -- "When are the OSI and bugged houses going to come down? We have reported the same OSI houses and a few bugged houses several time, but they still stand." We've had a slight delay addressing the OSI houses but we have been able to start up again and those houses are being deleted as soon as we can get to them. It's going to be a slow process but please hang in there. -- "When Publish 55 was posted in September, we were cautioned that the 3rd year vet reward potted cactus and the 6th year vet reward brazier were being considered for a more flexible deed system that would allow the owner to choose more than one facing or style, but this change had not yet been made, and to hold-off on selecting these items until the change was made. So... what's the status? Will the cactus and brazier deeds now give us different choices of style and facing? Thanks!" We were not able to fit this in with Publish 56 but we are hoping that it will make it in Publish 57. -- "I want to apply to the Event Moderator Program and I was wondering when the deadline is to submit my application?" You must have your application submitted by Monday, November 17th at midnight EST. Please make sure to answer all the questions on the application. Good luck! -- "Are we going to get a new holiday gift this year?" Event Moderator Program

I would like to make a request. Please remember that we are reviewing everyone’s applications extensively, but also remember that we’re trying to do a very thorough job. Please understand that we have been putting this together for over four months. We ask you wait a few more days as we go through the almost 100 applications we have received so far. Afterwards, we will post the names and send out all of the documentation necessary to complete the process as independent contractors support UO:Live. There will be no special consideration given for former EMs. Previous procedures, policies, and contractual obligations are void for this iteration of the Event Moderator program. Origin Issue

"Will the Blessed spellbooks that are dropping from the invasion on Siege be fixed?" We are aware of this issue and we're working on a fix for it. -- "Why are we seeing so much lag since the 4th of November?" We are trying to track down the cause of the recent lag problems and would like to request that if you are currently experiencing latency to send a traceroute to UOBugs.com, make sure to please include the shard you are playing on as well! -- "Will the entrance to Khaldun in Trammel on Oceania be fixed?" Good news! Yes, we have fixed this issue and players should now be able to exit from both entrances now. -- "I started a character transfer right before the rollback on Europa, and I am unable to find my character on either shard. When can I expect it to be fixed?" We have identified all the character transfers that were started at that time and we're working hard to fix the issues. Please be patient until Monday and report any uncompleted transfers to UOBugs.com at that time. -- When will the Event Moderater Applications be up and are there any special requirements? The application is up, please click on the Event Mods button located on the right of the main UOherald page, it will take you to the application.
