Kylere

Introduction

I was born on a small farm near Skara Brae, and lived out 18 years of my life there. My father, a retired Warrior, passed on his skill with swords and shields to me. On the eve of my 18th Birthday, my father passed down to me, a magical broadsword, and a wooden shield, and encouraged me to make my own way in the world, for it was obvious, that grubbing in the dirt, was not my true future.

I set forth, and coming upon a small town, I observed a Dark Lord Rogue, making comments that, to even I of the the hardened heart, were obscene, and luring a knight of some reknown into an area that did not seem to be guarded. Whilst watching them battle, I informed the knight, that the Evil one had slain me, and stolen my armour. Being of good nature he believed me, especially as the area was indeed guarded, and he was slain by yet another of the King's homocidal guards. Hasting in, I recovered his items, and held them for his return. Upon his arrival, I turned all of his gear to him, except for the gold which I would put to much better use later. I apologized for not recoving all of his gear and offered to assist in killing theEvil one.

He thanked me profusely, and we began tracking down the Evil One. After finding and killing him. The Knight gave me all of his items, and cursed that the Evil one had already spent his ill gotten gains (which I still pocketed) with a grin, I asked if we may adventure together. He asked if I would be interested in joining his Guild. The thought of this amused me, since I was a killer, being asked to join the other side, so I gave a hearty, "Yea!", in response. Following him to town I bought some items, and prepared to once again venture out.

We soon came upon his friends, all dressed like him, in bright colours (Which make wonderful targets). They welcomed me to their group, equipped me with a full set of Plate armour (excepting the chest piece, which I begged off from, as it seemed much to heavy to wear, whilst making a quick getaway), and awarded me with gold for assisting their friend. We slew a group of monsters together, and I informed them, that I must find an Inn to rest.

Venturing off, and staying in their rather garish colors (keeping my old clothing as disguise) I set upon, and slew more than 7 adventurers, all of them evil, through their own actions, or the insane gods, who seem to curse the good occasionally. Changing to my normal attire, I left the area and began searching the lands for more fools to take advantage of. Noticing a Master Mage in town, who was offering large sums of gold in exchange for some of the components (which my father had informed me they must have in order to work their magic). I followed and when he left to once again hit the wilderness, I knew that his search had been unsuccessful. I followed him for a while, and waited until he was set upon by a ghoul. I assisted the ghoul in dispatching him, and once he had died I layed into the ghoul. Stripping both their bodies, and fearing the wrath of the mage, since I had lightened his corpse of 390 gold pieces, I changed back into the garish anti-killing colours and promptly left the area.

As I wandered about I spotted a new victim, and attacked, but for some reason his destardly soul was stronger than mine. I began to run, he gave chase. After many exhausting miles of running, I rounded a mountain and standing before me was the group of fools I had deceived into letting me join earlier. I informed them that I had been attacked and he was still giving chase. We set forth as a group to kill him. Upon seeing us, he accused me of attacking first, my foolish team then laughed and called him a liar. We made short work of him and I was rewarded with a magical wand from his corpse, which seems able to identify anything.

I was truly exhausted at that point from my travels, and begging the leave of my pawns, I headed to an Inn for some well deserved rest. I am sure I will dream of the evil actions I can undertake in the morn
